Flat vs. Round Descriptions

Another important issue in accepting the Vedic cosmic model concerns the fact that the Earth is described as a flat body rather than a sphere. There are many reasons why Earth is believed to be round today:

We see that all celestial objects are observed to be spheres rather than flat surfaces. Why should Earth be any different? Aren’t we postulating a unique fact about the Earth by supposing that Earth is flat, when every other celestial body is spherical?

Different parts of the Earth undergo day and night at different times. We are familiar with time zones, and if you travel to the diametrically opposite part of the Earth, you see that there is day when it should have been night according to the clock you are carrying.

You can keep moving on the Earth on a straight line path and you will eventually arrive at the same point from where you started; this is affirmed by aircraft travel, but it is impossible to achieve if you are on a flat surface; you will simply fall off the edge of the Earth.

The Earth has been photographed from space and seen to be a sphere. From all these observations, it appears that Earth is round, and any theory of flat Earth must be flat out wrong.
